USE

INGREDIENTS

By combining the three effective active ingredients salicylic acid, retinol and niacinamide, the pore-refining mask combines a broader spectrum of effects: it reduces and refines enlarged pores, regulates sebum production and at the same time has a mattifying effect on the skin. These effects can be attributed to the following modes of action of the substances used:

•   Salicylic acid against large pores: Salicylic acid (beta-hydroxy acid - BHA) penetrates deep into the skin and thus not only removes dead skin cells (keratolysis), but also dissolves sebum accumulation in the skin. The acid thus effectively counteracts both triggering factors of enlarged facial pores.
•   Retinol against large pores: As a form of vitamin A, retinol is one of the most proven active ingredients in the beauty sector. It has a direct shrinking effect on the pores and also creates the mattifying effect of the mask by regulating sebum production.
•   Niacinamide against large pores: Niacinamide (vitamin B3) has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and cleansing effect on the skin. As a result, it cleanses the pores and also regulates sebum production. A decisive advantage over many other active ingredients with a similar effect profile: Niacinamide does not dry out the facial skin.
